Fashion photography is an art I have always admired; discovering the ad campaigns of the various fashion houses and brands being a highlight for me each season.
I have selected a few current favourites that stood out for me, that I find especially interesting, very sweet, eye-catching or just plain stunning and couldn’t help but share.
I never thought Marc Jacobs would fail to excite me. But with his Resort 2013 collection, he did. In fact, I was really disappointed. Some pieces were fine, but nothing special. Most of them reminded me of 1970s housewives and plastic tablecloths. And the proportions seemed way off. At first. The more I looked at it, the more I fell in love. The combination of prints is brilliant and the stiff a-line dresses are simply fabulous. Marc Jacobs is a genius.
