Marios Schwab’s collections are among my favourites every season.
I like not only the subtle sexiness but also the wearability and classical femininity (and he’s part Austrian, which gives him an extra bonus).
He thinks of the woman he designs for as “a femme fatale, someone anonymous, powerful, intelligent, who you only glimpse but can’t forget.”
His 2013 resort collection included highly wearable pieces for the daytime, swimwear accompanied by sheer capes and evening dresses with metallic beading and sequins, with delicate lace dresses forming the finale of the show.
